Proxy
Sometimes the footage is a bit too heavy for your system, and you can't even play the footage back. At that time, a proxy workflow is very useful. The software creates lightweight versions of your video files which allow for faster editing.
Speed ramp
This is the Oldest editing trick in the book. In this, your video suddenly speeds up and/or slows down to normal speed. An example of a film that used speed ramping very extensively is Pathaan featuring SRK. Look at the music video of Jhoome Jo pathaan, you will spot the speed ramps
Easy ease
This is a keyframe trick. Easy ease allows you to add a gradual acceleration or deceleration to your keyframes. Say you set the keyframe for the object to move from left to right. With linear keyframes, the animation will look very rigid. With easy ease, you will see that the object's speed increases gradually and decreases gradually. This is very useful in 2d character animation.
Log profile
When you shoot in LOG profile, you record a clip with a very dull and flat color profile which lacks contrast and saturation. LOG profile allows for greater flexibility in color grading, since highlights and shadows are easier to control in a log color profile. Log footage requires a conversion LUT that converts LOG color profile of the footage into normal color profile. After that, we can go for creating the color look we are after.
