Get to know all the editing jargon
(Part 1)
Bitrate
The bit rate is measured differently for all files. For video, it's MBPS (Megabytes per second), and for audio it's in KBPS (kilobytes per second).
Other than the resolution, the quality of a video is bound by the bitrate. If you deliver your 4k video at a bit rate of 20mbps, the quality will be abysmal. Since 20 Mbps is a low bit rate for a 4k video. And for 1080p, a bitrate of 20 is okay. It does however mean, that the file sizes are also linked. So a 1080p file at a bitrate of 80mbps is gonna be crispier and bigger in size compared to the same file in 30MBPS.

Posterize Time
This is a video effect. It allows you to reduce the frame rate of your video. For example, if your video is 24FPS, with posterize, you can reduce the framerate to as low as 1. This is mostly used for giving the look of choppy 12FPS animation Which looks great in motion graphics.
Pivot/gizmo/anchor point
Three separate names for one thing that serves the same purpose. They call it an anchor point in Adobe tools gizmo/pivot in software such as 3DS Max and Fusion. These things have the same purpose. They are the center point of an object in your software. From this center point, all the other effects are influenced. So if your pivot is in the center of the object, properties like scale and rotation will make the object grow or rotate from the center. If you move it to a corner, the object will scale or rotate differently.
